The new NA2201 digital earth leakage current detector IC is meticulously crafted to integrate state-of-the-art overvoltage and DC current detection capabilities, setting a new standard in electrical safety technology.

The NA2201 is a sophisticated CMOS-based digital detector IC specially engineered for earth leakage current breakers. It boasts a built-in high-precision 14-bit ADC that efficiently converts analogue signals from a Zero-phase-sequence Current Transformer (ZCT) into precise digital data. By analyzing this data, the IC can swiftly identify the presence of earth leakage conditions, promptly triggering an external thyristor when necessary.

One of the standout features of the NA2201 is its ability to support both Type A and Type AC earth leakage detection conditions. Additionally, it offers a unique five-time trip-level immediate response feature that can be easily customized to suit specific safety requirements, ensuring adaptability across a range of applications.

Comprehensive Protection

Beyond earth leakage detection, the IC is equipped with an advanced overvoltage detection function that extends its protective capabilities to include neutral conductor open-phase protection.
