Hamamatsu Photonics: S11639N-02 and S13496N-02

Hamamatsu Photonics has unveiled a groundbreaking duo of linear CMOS image sensors designed to revolutionize the performance of spectrometers. These sensors have been meticulously engineered to enhance sensitivity without compromising on resolution, catering to the evolving needs of the industry.

Advanced Features

Both sensors, S11639N-02 and S13496N-02, are presented in a 42mm long through-hole Dual Inline Package (DIP) format. Each sensor houses a linear array measuring 28.7mm in length and 0.2mm in width.

Pixel Configuration

The S11639N-02 boasts a remarkable configuration of 2,048 pixels, each measuring 14 x 200µm. Meanwhile, the S13496N-02 showcases an even more impressive array of 4,096 pixels, with measurements of 7 x 200μm.

Efficient Power Usage

Operating from a single 5V rail drawing approximately 40mA, both sensors offer efficient power consumption while supporting data output at an impressive rate of up to 10MHz.

No Cooling Required

Designed for practicality and convenience, these sensors do not necessitate additional cooling systems. Their operational range spans from -40 to +65°C, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging environments.
